Words From The Heart
These are the voices of parents whose children you have touched. Their words cannot repay your kindness, but perhaps they can show you the lives you have changed.
Watch parents share their stories of struggle, hope, and gratitude in their own words.
Each testimony represents a family lifted from despair, a child given another chance at life.
"I am truly grateful to Adonai's Mercy House for organizing activities that bring joy to our children and lasting memories for all of us. Events like Flores de Mayo, Harana, and Christmas parties are very special experiences that our children excitedly look forward to and deeply cherish. Their condition has long prevented them to participate in activities like these. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Adonai's partners and sponsors who generously support these activities. Their compassion and desire to give our children beautiful memories will never be forgotten and will always stay in our hearts."

"Adonai's Mercy House became my shield and source of strength at the time we felt depressed during Sonny Boy's ordeal. Adonai's unwavering support, the activities they invited us to have brought joy and comfort. The staffs' visits to the hospital — especially when Sonny Boy was already in critical condition — meant so much to us. Even during Sonny Boy's wake and burial, they remained by our side, extending emotional, spiritual, and financial support. I am also deeply grateful that even after Sonny Boy's passing, they continue to invite us to their activities. These gatherings have greatly helped ease our sorrow and allowed us to remain connected with a community that has truly become like family to us."
— Jocelyn M. Rotoni

"I came to know about Adonai's Mercy House when my son was admitted to its free pediatric oncology unit at Mary Johnston Hospital. There, we were blessed with free meals and a comfortable environment that truly helped Andrew in his healing journey. Adonai's even gave us transportation fares so we could attend activities that the children and caretakers thoroughly enjoyed. The wheelchair Adonai's gave Andrew, who had a hard time walking, brought him much relief and comfort. I have so many things to thank Adonai's Mercy House for. May God bless Adonai's!"

"Adonai's Mercy House has been more than just a helping hand — it changed our lives and helped save Joric's. It's always there when we need them most. Beyond the financial support that covered part of Joric's medical and laboratory expenses, the organization provided something money couldn't buy: joy and a sense of belonging. Now, Joric is 16 years old and proudly living as a cancer survivor. In spite of challenges, Joric has won awards for being the best in mathematics and even earned third honors in his class. I'm thankful that my son never gave up. With God's help, I believe he'll achieve his dream of becoming an excellent engineer or scientist one day."

"Being welcomed into the AMH family brought much joy to me. I am a single parent to eight children. Connecting with other parents of children with cancer allowed me to be a part of a support network that gave me strength to go on. What I fear the most is when the day will come when Raiven would be totally blind and could no longer see anything. My son is required to change his artificial eye annually and undergo regular checkups to ensure his eyeglasses remain effective. Raiven dreams of the day when he can see clearly again and be fully healed."
